The Truth
No one can run and hide,
From the truth inside.
It comes from every beating vein,
It's the silent stare in pain.
It's the gentle bite on your bottom lip,
It's the smooth glide of your hip.
The truth is in the whispers of your prayer,
It's that feeling inside that isn't fair.
It's the small fingers in your hand,
It's the music memory of your band.
It's all the words written in your book,
It's the Alpha and Omega look.
It's the pitter patter in their tiny footsteps,
The truth lies in the drug addict rep's.
It's the sleepless nights,
It's the knock-down drag-out fights.
It's why the orphanages are full,
It's all the Bull.
It's why we want to go....To Mexico.
The truth is the chance we didn't take,
The truth is the life we make.
It's so many things,
It's what happiness brings.
The truth will never leave,
It is there...just believe.
Ask- it will set you free.
Make sure you answer truthfully.

A Little Flower Power with the Finished Zen Garden~
Journal Entry: A commissioned canvas piece for a local customer in town who wanted me to paint her daughters. It was a thrill for me and I am very thankful to have some one relish into my artworks. I titled the piece Sisters using surrealism in acrylic. The same group of people have asked for me to write a sports blog for the group of cheerleaders I am representing and have posted on an AOL blog. They are soon discovering that they can only leave messages if they are AOL'ers but it is open to the public yet private for their safety.
*Top Two photos show the painting Zen Garden that is finally finished for sale at $500.00. It is acrylic on a 14x14 square canvas and the results are nicely done in fresh detail with the spray of flowers, dragonfly, butterfly, and lizard.

Springtime Self Portrait
Journal Entry:
Good Morning ....
Dont mind me, I am just adding flower venues to when the day finally comes for your visit from Round Robins. We drove out of town for a softball tournament for one of my children games. She played five games in the Boxer Blowout Tournament and there were teams from Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma participating. The object was for us to decorate boxers with softball logos and we stayed up one night painting their shorts for the parade they had marching during last Saturdays hot afternoon screaming chants until they lost their voices. They lost the last game which did not qualify them in the finals. Two more games remain until the season is over with. The competitive league is different than the recreational softball. It involves higher level of sportsmanship and athletic abilities which is all the reason why I have been lacking organization online for anything but whatever I have time to input on here, so bare with me. We have new issues with girls this year. All of growing up and keeping the peace is a challenge for me but yet something I am certainly helping with. I don't believe anymore that we can just sit back and say "Kids will be Kids" and ignore fighting or any type of humilations amongst youngsters. I witnessed girls on our team depancing another girl in a public sports complex while the team laughing abrubtly and it turned into a brawl defending herself.
I joined a Anti-Bullying Alliance about a month ago and formed pledges with the cheerleaders of this new year ahead for my same daughter that will be continuing after softball. She was a cheerleader last year and will be tumbling in her cheer squad this year. I signed up to be a stunt mom that helps spotting their pyramids during halftime performances and on the sideline. It is my job of all jobs in other words to make sure it gets leveled out smoothly for their childhood. The problems of forth graders are what I used to go through as a nineth grader making growing up now a days the shitzoos if you ask me. Way too early to emabark such a wake up call on life. I pray her continuously to be calm and rest assured to remain clear headed and not soak up the attitudes that are bestowed on so many people. I think sometimes it is too late for things that I have no control over. But a friend told me when I felt there was nothing I could do they said, "sure you can....you can spoil her". And it stuck with me.
Pray for Daisy, she is having puppy seizures.

Journal Entry:
Updated Artwork from the first mural I painted at my mothers house, she wanted it to match her wallpaper border. I painted a total of two murals at her house and she has moved again. She got a divorce from my step father that she left my father for and my grandmother is now living with her. Grams broke her arm during a bad fall in the house that she was not accustomed to. She moved from California after Gramps died. Their new place is beautiful and mom designed it the way she wished from scratch. She likes the colors that are found in the neighborhoods of New England. She has another mural in mind for me to paint only this time it is a Greek/Athens/OldWorld type of look with dome archways, columns and landscape. I will post it when I am finished since my husband is working out of state I can find more time to drive over there and stay the week to get it done.

"Koi Fish" Double Canvas

Journal Entry:
I have been at home for awhile with alot of time to paint. I started three paintings. It was what I wanted to do. I had several ideas in my head. The key with the eye is an all knowing energy source of knowlegde to the root of our hearts that is to be unlocked. It is like a GodSpeed Key in my opinion to gain understanding about life and our well being, the heart. Taking care of our center or the core of our bodies. I know that the belly button or naval is the center of our bodies but I like to think that the heart is because it is so dominate over the brain. Leaving all the remain parts of the body preliminary, secondary, and loose philanges used to send sensory messages to the dominate heart and the dominate brain. NOT sure which one you use to make decisions with but I use God. So in conclusion, the all knowing GodSpeed Eye delivers knowledge to the heart in the painting "The Key To My Heart".
The Koi fish is a fancy fish that is pretty to me while normally fish are ugly. I have an infatuation with the eyes. Who has seen fish with such pretty eyes!? LOL, so I exaggerated the fish's eye to humanize it in the waterworld in which it lives in. The last photo is of the door knocker. It is a small wooden dragonfly door knocker and attached is a blue stone glued titling TRUST. This is a 30x40 canvas painted tye dye door titled "Alice's Door". As in Alice in Wonderland's Door to her imagination while she is three feet tall. It has the grain detail of wood. Yes I painted wood and all the lines in the grain. We artists paint what we love. Guess its been a fancy fish in the pond by a magical door and key kind of life for me!

SEA SHORE GALORE
Journal Entry:
This photoart was created after I painted the Lighthouse mural in Ft.Smith Arkansas in a commercial building. Light houses resemble the strength to bring ships to shore from stormy seas. They are life savers basically and fisherman use them to guide their crews back to land. Rest assured once they spot the light they grab the beam like rope and pull them back to home with guidance of the map of the stars. Gotta love those Lighthouses! "There are good ships and bad ships, but the best kind are friendships. Hope your ships are full".

Drove out of state to get our Yorkie. Last night was our first night with the puppy. She is three months old tomorrow. Was born on Valentines Day. Reminds me when I was driving thru a neighborhood and saw in the road a squirrel running towards the curb so I stopped. Looked twice and it was a Yorkie from I don't know where but I got out of the car and found her, returned her to her rightful owner knowing that someone would surely miss the dog because she was freshly bathed with the scent of lilacs and vanilla. Or something like that. I thought to myself I could have kept the dog but didn't and now we have one who is the sweetest laphound I could ask for. Majority vote to name her Daisy. It was unanimous, I giggled for those who know me. We tossed up names such as Raven, Tootsie, Twix, Ruby, Diva, Baby, Bling Bling, Priscilla, Fancy Face, you name it! But Daisy May was our final decision. So welcome to the family Daisy May.

Joke of the Day:
Having to Take a Whisper
Once there was a liitle boy in church. He had to go to the bathroom so he told his mother, ''Mommy, I have to piss.''
The mother said, ''Son don't say piss in church. Next time you have to piss, say, 'whisper' because it is more polite.
The next Sunday, the little boy was sitting by his father this time, and once again, he had to go to the bathroom.
He told his father, ''Daddy I have to whisper.''
And the father said to the son, "Ok then whisper here in my ear."

MAKING LOVE OUT OF NOTHING AT ALL Lyrics
by Air Supply
I know just how to whisper,
And I know just how to cry;
I know just where to find the answers;
And I know just how to lie.
I know just how to fake it,
And I know just how to scheme;
I know just when to face the truth,
And then I know just when to dream.
And I know just where to touch you,
And I know just what to prove;
I know when to pull you closer,
And I know when to let you loose.
And I know the night is fading,
And I know that time's gonna fly;
And I'm never gonna tell you everything
I've got to tell you,
But I know I've got to give it a try.
And I know the roads to riches,
And I know the ways to fame;
I know all the rules
And then I know how to break 'em
And I always know the name of the game.
But I don't know how to leave you,
And I'll never let you fall;
And I don't know how you do it,
Making love out of nothing at all
Out of nothing at all.
Every time I see you all the rays of the sun
Are streaming through the waves in your hair;
And every star in the sky is taking aim
At your eyes like a spotlight,
The beating of my heart is a drum, and it's lost
And it's looking for a rhythm like you.
You can take the darkness from the pit of the night
And turn into a beacon burning endlessly bright.
I've got to follow it, 'cause everything I know,
well it's nothing till I give it to you.
I can make the run or stumble,
I can make the final block;
And I can make every tackle,
at the sound of the whistle,
I can make all the stadiums rock.
I can make tonight forever,
Or I can make it disappear by the dawn;
And I can make you every promise that has ever been made,
And I can make all your demons be gone.
But I'm never gonna make it without you,
Do you really want to see me crawl?
And I'm never gonna make it like you do,
Making love out of nothing at all.

Note: Found this Quote:
"Instead of beating me up, you should be giving me hope. Instead of bringing me down, you should be lifting me up. Instead of starting a fire, you should be heating things up. I would never leave you there, screaming for my love".

Joke of the Day:
Breast Stroke
There was a competition to cross the English channel doing only the breaststroke, and the three women who entered the race were a brunette, a redhead and a blonde.
After approximately 14 hours, the brunette staggered up on the shore and was declared the fastest. About 40 minutes later, the redhead crawled up on the shore and was declared the second place finisher. Nearly 4 hours after that, the blonde finally came ashore and promptly collapsed in front of the worried onlookers.
When the reporters asked why it took her so long to complete the race, she replied, "I don't want to sound like I'm a sore loser, but I think those two other girls were using their arms..."
